Harakeke Coat Stand

The Harakeke coat stand design takes inspiration from the flower stalks of New Zealand’s native harakeke plant. In this interpretation, the stand gracefully unfurls into five alternating hooks.

During the design process, Jamie explored how harakeke flowers naturally branch away from the main stem—a detail celebrated in the coat stand’s distinctive wood joints. These flowing connections reveal the interacting grain, showcasing the natural beauty of timber craftsmanship.

Made with 100% solid timber and available in walnut or oak, the flax green and black are solid ash, all finished with a matte lacquer.
